As the World Championship in float fishing for veterans draws closer, more and more competitors are visiting the course to get familiar with the venue, complete their first training sessions, and get a feel for the water where they will soon compete against some of the best anglers in the world.
One of them is Jean Desque, a member of the French Veterans National Team, who trained here yesterday and shared his impressions after seeing the course and fishing on it.
Jean said:
“Le parcours est magnifique parfaitement adapté pour un championnat de pêche au coup. Les poissons sont nombreux et variés. Il me tarde d’y être amitiés, Jean!”
Translation:
“The course is beautiful and perfectly suited for a float fishing championship. There are many fish, and they are very diverse. I can’t wait to be there. Best regards, Jean.”
These first reactions make us especially happy, as they confirm that the course, the conditions, and the preparations have been recognized by competitors with great international experience.
In the coming days, we expect more national teams to arrive for training, and we will also share new impressions from competitors from other countries.
The World Championship is getting closer, and Ivanec and our course are becoming more and more ready for this major fishing event.
