Dear competitors, team managers, officials and guests,
It is my great pleasure to extend a warm welcome on behalf of the Sport Fishing Association of Varaždin County and our hosts, the Sport Fishing Club Ivanec, to the 18th World Championship for Veterans and the 27th World Championship for Persons with Disabilities in Float Fishing.
We are honoured that Ivanec has the opportunity to host this prestigious event. Our lakes, set in a beautiful natural environment at the foot of Mount Ivančica, reflect the long-standing fishing tradition, dedication and continuous work of our members and volunteers. Hosting a World Championship is a recognition of the efforts invested in the development of sport fishing in our region.
These Championships represent more than a competition – they promote friendship, inclusion, respect, and the true spirit of sport. We are delighted to welcome teams from around the world and hope you enjoy your time with us.
