Organized by the Sports Fishing Association of Varaždin County and hosted by ŠRD Ivanec, the county float fishing competition – the Varaždin County Championship 2026 – was held in Ivanec. The competition brought together a large number of competitors across all age categories and was held according to HŠRS rules.
The competition was held over two days. On Saturday, 2 May, cadets, female cadets, juniors and female juniors competed at Omladinski Bajer, while on Sunday, 3 May, senior men fished at the same venue. The senior women competed at Barutana.
